What’s for dessert ?: Gluten Free: Marble banana bread
An unplanned excess of free time was created, I saw a few days ago recipe which immediately attracted me, I got a tablet from a friend that she made, I recently bought these plates at a flea market in Trieste, and I haven’t used them yet, I also have a new sieve and a metal plate from Baskets – and suddenly everything settled down. I will make marble banana bread and use new things for photography! I made some changes to the recipe when it comes to groceries, which you can read below.
-
3 eggs
-
180 g of sugar
-
120 ml + 2 tablespoons milk
-
50 g of melted butter
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
2 large ripe bananas (mash with a fork)
-
1 large apple (peeled and finely grated)
-
220 g Schar Mix B flour
-
1 teaspoon baking powder
-
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-
a pinch of salt
-
25 g cocoa
Mix eggs and sugar until light. Add 120 ml of milk, melted butter and vanilla extract and mix everything well. Stir in bananas and 3/4 grated apples. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt) and add to the mixture, then mix until combined. Divide the mixture into 2 equal parts and add cocoa, 2 tablespoons of milk and 1/4 grated apple to one part.
Line a square oblong mold with baking paper. Alternately place the light and dark mixture in the middle of the mold (approximately 2-3 tablespoons) to get a zebra pattern. Bake for 50-60 minutes in an oven preheated to 170ºC (check with a toothpick if it is baked). Leave the baked bread in the mold for 10 minutes, then take it out and place it on the rack to cool completely.
